Active Autowerke has carefully gone through the painstaking process of remapping the E36 328i DME to pull additional performance out of the M52 power unit. With these slight and precise changes, your 328i should see a gain of roughly 15 horsepower and 12 lb.-ft. of torque.
Tuned to run on 91-93 octane, you can now unlock your BMW’s true potential without compromising fuel efficiency. Modifications to the DME include adjustments to the air/fuel ratio as well as ignition tables (timing). With this performance software, wide open throttle maps are also adjusted to help improve the overall driving experience of your E36 BMW 328i.
INCREASED REV LIMIT & MORE POWER POTENTIAL WITH BOLT ON PARTS
An increased RPM limit (for manual applications) is another great feature the Active Autowerke E36 328i software provides owners. With this raised rev limit, you have the ability to enjoy more usable power which had previously been restricted under the stock parameters.
Speaking of restricted, if you have ditched the factory BMW exhaust manifold for a BMW performance exhaust header or Active Autowerke E36 BMW header – we have an additional option: With your new Active Autowerke software, we can include an OFF-ROAD/RACING option for cars that are running without a catalytic converter.
With the Active Autowerke performance software for the E36 328i, you can maximize the performance of your modifications to meet their optimum performance potential. This element of our software is something you can only find at Active Autowerke.
Also included with the Active Autowerke performance software is a Simon2 Flashing Cable to help further enhance the software experience. The cable allows for an easier install of the software package and comes at no additional charge!

Brothers Mike and Karl Hugh were bred to play with power, it seems. As young men growing up on an island, doing things correctly for oneself became their ingrained credo.
